The Ibom Airport Development Company Ltd. Board of Directors under the leadership of His Excellency Otuekong Idongesit Nkanga visited ongoing project sites at the Victor Attah International Airport on the 10th of March, 2020.
Rt. Hon. Okpolumpm Etteh who doubles as Board Member and Commissioner Ministry of Special Duties, the supervising ministry for the construction of the International Terminal Building alongside the VKS Project Coordinator Mr. Onur Uzel was on ground to show the Board members around the project site.

The Project Coordinator notified the Board Members that the International Terminal Building was constructed on about Twenty Three Thousand, two Hundred and Nineteen sqm (23,219SQM) area of land and on completion, has the capacity of facilitating One million (1,000,000) passengers yearly.
Also, the Board of Directors visited the site of the ongoing construction of the parallel taxiway by Gitto Construzioni Generali Nig Ltd.
The project Coordinator Mr. Ganem speaking during the visit informed the team that the phase A of the project was at 70% completion.

The IADCL Board Chairman while speaking at the event expressed satisfaction at the progress of work ongoing at the Airport and urged the construction companies to ensure that the projects were completed on schedule.
He also commended the State Governor, His Excellency Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel for providing the needed resources for the project.
Also present were the management team IADCL: Mr. Uwem Ekanem – MD/CEO IADCL, Engr. Aniema Ukpong – Airport Manager, Barr. Essang J. Essang – CS/Legal Adviser and Engr. Iboro Cosmos Udo – HOD – Engineering Services.
