Lost & found

Inevitably, some of the millions of travelers flying to and from VAIA forget or lose something while they’re there. We do our very best to make sure that any lost items are returned to their rightful owners. Found items should be reported or handed over at the Customer Service Information desk. These are located in the Departure hall.

If you’re looking for something you lost at the airport, we would need the following information from you:

  • Date, area and approximate time when the item was misplaced;
  • Description of item;
  • Contents, serial number, model, brand/manufacturer’s name etc.;
  • Colour and any other special features

Items Lost On board Aircraft

Unlike items lost at the airport, objects found aboard the aircraft do not end up at the lost and found department. Responsibility for these items fall to the airline’s ground handling staff at the airport. Of course, these lost possessions can still be recovered, but you will have to contact the airline’s ground handling staff directly.
